Course Introduction

Mechanic Motor Vehicle is an Engineering trade of 27 months duration with 4 semesters. In this trade, students are taught about skills like servicing, repairing and maintenance of major overhauling of motor vehicle like Scooter/Motor Cycle, Cars, Trucks and Buses. Trainees also learn to drive and maintain all type of vehicles by work of suspension, transmission, brakes, steering work, basic electrical and electronic work; fault diagnosis petrol/diesel engines including MPFI engine. Trainees are taught about wheel alignment and balancing, diagnostic trouble code by using car scanner. On completion of the Course, the trainees can be employed in government or private company as an auto mechanic, service technician, vehicle operator etc. The student can also be self-employed as in the same fields.

Fourth Semester
