Tibetan private ITI, Selakui was founded with the objective of providing the Tibetan youth with a range of technical skills in various trades so that they can serve in industries and community centers in India and abroad or set up their own business for self-employment.

The Mission of Tibetan Children’s Villages (TCV) – an integrated charitable organization – is to ensure that all the children under its care receive a sound education, a firm cultural identity and become self-reliant and contributing members of the Tibetan community and the world at large driven by its motto; “Other Before Self”

  • To Provide parental care and love
  • To Develop a sound understanding of Tibetan identity and culture
  • To respect and to understand the global citizenship
  • To develop a sense of responsibilities towards environment
  • To develop and to promote secular ethics and values
  • To provide effective modern and traditional education
In today’s increasingly open economy, as in every other sphere of life there is unprecedented competition in the labor job market. Thousands of Tibetan students are passing out from schools and colleges every year into a limited job market where only the fittest can survive. As a result the unemployment and related social problems threaten to increase in the coming years in the Tibetan community. In response to this, Tibetan Private ITI was founded with the objective of providing the Tibetan youth with a range of technical skills in various trades so that they can serve in industries and community centers in India and abroad or set up their own business for self-employment.
